Yesterday the LEx team visited the Microsoft offices in Cambridge, MA. We were given insight into how Microsoft products can be used in regulated environment, what the next Operating Systems will look like, etc...
Interesting, but not earth chocking.
What really struck me is how standard gaming tooling (like the Microsoft Kinect) is being used a the Lakeside Center for Autism to do some amazing things with the kids.

This is a fantastic example of innovation with simple, off-the-shelf components and how they can make a difference in healthcare.
